Under the hood of the F40 lies a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine delivering 478 horsepower. But numbers only tell part of the story. The F40 is renowned for its raw driving experience, free from modern aids like power steering or electronic stability control.
Its design, with sharp lines and a massive rear wing, is now timeless. Every detail is focused on aerodynamics and weight reduction. The body is made largely of carbon fiber and the then-revolutionary Kevlar. Only 1,315 units were produced.
